The Introduction and
First, read the intro. Make sure to pause and do the mental exercises the author devised as you go. They don’t take long, and it’s an important part of an active read of this text.
Then, as you read the ten “whacks,” order them.
After you’ve ordered the whacks, read the chapter that corresponds to your most eggregious “mental lock.”
Come prepared to state what one thing you are going to do in the next four weeks to challenge this mental lock. It should be reasonable and actionable on your part, and be a positive thing in terms of your studies/social life/search for cats on the Internet/etc.
